Comfy sport feel
Lotte strives to match the sportiness of her brother Ludwig, while at the same time focusing on relaxed everyday riding. The Shimano Alfine hub gears contribute to this, as does a more comfortable frame geometry thanks to a lowered top tube, higher head tube and lower bottom bracket. Lights and mudguards can be easily retrofitted if necessary - selected components integrate perfectly to maintain the reduced design language and typical Schindelhauer character.
Peace of mind
Instead of a conventional chain, the maintenance-free Gates Carbon Drive CDX CenterTrack belt drive ensures a light, silent and fast ride. For extended tours with climbs or fast tailwind passages, the Shimano Alfine 8-/11-speed transmission is a perfect match.
Shimano Alfine 8-/11-gear hub
With a spread of 307% for the 8-speed hub or 409% for the 11-speed hub, it offers enough leeway for any terrain. The pawl-free freewheel is super-quiet and an ideal complement to the silent belt drive.
Alfine components
The hollow axle and external bearings work together to achieve the essential stiffness that the belt demands, while a fixed clamp collar gives a precise belt line to ensure a highly durable belt – at the same time, as a visual highlight, it decisively shapes the character of the bike.
Gates Carbon Drive
Since day one, Schindelhauer has been using the superior belt drive from Gates, which consists of embedded carbon fibres. All bikes are specially designed for the belt drive in order to take advantage of all the benefits.

Lotte is designed from the ground up for the Gates Carbon Drive to make the most of all the advantages of the drive system. Innovative technologies such as the Schindelhauer belt port and the slider-belt-tensioning-system are seamlessly integrated to consistently maintain the purist design.
Aluminium frame
Stable, robust and yet a true lightweight - the frame is made of high-quality 6061 aluminium. The smoothed weld seams using the "flat-welding" process are a visual highlight.
Patented Belt Port
The patented Belt Port, an almost invisible opening at the dropout, makes it very easy to change the belt drive.
LightSKIN LED handlebar (Graphite Black Edition)
With a brightness of 150 lumens, it is the world's smallest lens that meets the high requirements of the StVZO. Thanks to good heat dissipation, it has a long life span.
LightSKIN LED seat post (Graphite Black Edition)
Five LEDs, recessed in the seat post, ensure optimum safety in road traffic from all angles.

The Schindelhauer Moon handlebars are ergonomically designed for a comfortable grip and an upright cycling position. The stylish sweep of the bar ends, which curve slightly backwards (18°), mean you’ll enjoy casual touring all the more.
Schindelhauer stem
You’ll love the clean and neat appearance achieved by transferring the segment system from our seat post clamp. The stem can be mounted to angle either upward or downward (+/- 7° rise).
